| Hi, I’m Matt and I’m 23. I live in Melton Mowbray, England and love photography. I’m still very much a novice, but hope to develop my skills and move into pro photography in the future. Until 24/10/2009, I was shooting using a Panasonic Lumix FZ18, which is a fantastic super-zoom bridge camera. I have been using this since October 2008 and it has really opened my eyes to the world of photography. I have realised that anything can be achieved, you just have to rise to the challenge. I am now the proud owner of a Canon EOS 450D which is absolutley amazing! I would expect there to be significantly more posts being made now as I should be taking a lot more photos! I always shoot in RAW+JPEG, which gives me incredible freedom with colour balance, contrast, brightness, sharpness etc. I shoot everything to SD-HC cards, and copy everything daily to my laptop and an external hard-drive. I have my own Photoblog at Matt Chalmers Photography which I will probably keep more up to date than this page! |
